First-Aid Training

Service Overview

We provide this training as required by Legal Notice No.160 of the Factories (First Aid) Rules, 1977. The Rules require all persons in charge of workplace First aid and/ or manning First aid box, to receive adequate training in the application of first aid to injured persons and hold a certificate of competence issued by approved institutions.

The training covers assessing the casualty, providing safety, accessing emergency services, and using resources to provide first aid, such as providing CPR and using a defibrillator, administering an autoinjector for anaphylaxis, administering asthma medication, assisting someone choking, using appropriate immobilization techniques for envenomation, fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains, managing casualties with non-life-threatening bleeding and shock.
