Environmental Audits

Service Overview

Based on the Environmental Management and Coordination Act, cap 387 of 2018, an environmental audit is a systematic and objective evaluation of activities and processes of an ongoing project to determine how far these activities and programs conform with the approved environmental management plan of that specific project and sound environmental management practices.

The goal of EA is to establish if proponents of projects are complying with the environmental requirements and enforcing legislation. Companies and local governments/ authorities and individuals with environmental responsibilities conduct the environmental audits regularly to keep in compliance with established environmental laws and regulations.

A comprehensive EA promotes a safe and healthy environment at all stages of a project, as well as decommissioning.
